Antrim County Jail is located in Bellaire, Michigan. Sheriff Daniel Bean is the chief of this jail. He is assisted by under-sheriff Dean Pratt. The jail administrator is Sgt. Todd Rawling. The facility has a total capacity of 56 beds. In addition to this, the jail also has a juvenile holdover cell with 2 beds.
The inmates in this jail are offered GED classes, several types of group counseling sessions and religious services that are held two times a week. Outsiders are not allowed to give the inmates anything from outside except for T-shirts, underwear, and socks. Each inmate can have a maximum of one visitor in a week and each visit lasts only 20 minutes. There is a particular visiting schedule during which time the visits have to be made.
For female inmates, the visiting day is Thursday from 2 pm to 4 pm and again from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. For male inmates, the day is Saturday and the time is the same as that of female inmates. For male work release /trustees, it is Sunday and the time slots are the same. Inmates are to list their visitors' name in advance if they are to have any visits. The information is recorded in a log and only on approval are inmates allowed to meet them. All the visitors are expected to carry a photo ID during every visit.
