Talbot County Detention Center or the Talbot county jail is located in Easton, Maryland. It is an up to date, modern facility in the Talbot County. This detention center or correctional facility began operations in July 1992. It houses close to 95 prisoners, with a capacity to house 148 inmates, and is situated 1.5 acres from the district Court.

The professional visitation hours are between 09:30 am to 07:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Each inmate is allowed to have two adult visitors, and as many as three children may accompany them. Each adult is allowed to spend 30 minutes with the inmate. In case of the visitor travelling 55 miles or more for a visit, the visitor is allowed to spend a full hour with the inmate. The inmates can receive money in the form of money orders only, and cash and personal checks cannot be sent. Any money order received is deposited into the inmate's account the following business day after being received. The Talbot County Community Service Program (TCCSP) allows certain offenders to offer services to the community, while maintaining family and social ties.

The Talbot County Detention Center is a climate controlled, three-storey building, with efficient security systems, with smoke detectors and fire sprinkler systems in place. The facility has common dayroom facilities, laundry, kitchen, gym, classroom, library, medical department, administrative office, visiting room, and a booking area.
