The Howard County Detention Center is a full service correctional facility that is located in Jessup, Maryland. Inmate Services

The Howard County Detention Center offers several services and programs for all inmates incarcerated in their facility. Educational and life skill programs are available on a volunteer basis for any who wish to participate. Inmates are allowed visiting privileges as long as they remain in good behavioral status. Inmates are allowed to have up to two adults and two children visitors for each visiting session. Any visitors who do not obey all of the facility rules and policies regarding inmate visitation will have their visitation immediately ended and may be denied any further entry into the facility.
