The Central Jails are equipped with an on location courtroom. The CJ1 is an arraignment courtroom located inside the Men's Central Jail complex. This facility opened in October of 2011 and has helped to speed up the justice process in Orange County significantly. The location and design of this arraignment courtroom have greatly reduced the time and cost associated with transporting inmates to and from court dates.
